and Maintenance If grass grows too tall you will loose potency and eventually the grass will lie down. You can prevent wheatgrass from over-growing by keeping it in a fridge or cool dark place for up to 10 days. For best use, cut wheatgrass and rinse right before you juice it.To save space wheatgrass can be cut and bagged but the enzymes will loose potency over a short time. If cut, the chlorophyll still exists but the enzymes may not be present with the vitamin benefits for assimilation. This is a very important part of consuming wheatgrass and nothing compares to fresh juiced organic wheatgrass. Keep properly watered. Every 1-2 days lift grass from tray to feel for moisture. If not moist, run a full rain stream evenly over all grass until water drips slightly from bottom. |
